Consequence of a Bingo game
What is with bingo that makes people crazy? Why is it that even in a small town you would see people playing this game?
Bingo is one of the most well known recreational games. It was made and developed for its sole purpose - for entertainment. This game can be played by anyone even our children ages 3 yrs old and above. This game is one of the most simple and easiest games ever developed. It requires minimal mental skills to play.
This game is usually played by 2 or more players and each has their own printed bingo cards that have a set of numbers on them. It can be played anywhere.
We can even see some people playing bingo in front of their houses with improvised playing cards and a small jar with numbers to be drawn. However, most people prefer to go a real bingo house/parlor where there are more players involved and playing in front of a real big screen.
Bingo prizes vary and depend on the contestant's choice and the price of each card. Usually the prices are smaller if it is just played on the side of the street than going to a real bingo place. But just the same, both have the same rules and objectives. The first player to complete the game in any given pattern like vertical, horizontal or diagonal will be declared as the winner.
Looking deeper into the game's history, it was first made for small children to enhance their mental abilities but later on played even by adults. But of course, adults play this game for a different purpose, not just for entertainment.
Nowadays, people are getting used to play bingo and make this game a part of their daily lives. Because according to them, aside from entertainment this is also a good source of making money even after repetitive losses.
People keep on questioning the legality of this game. Is it still safe for our children to play bingo? Or if we teach them how to play this game, are we preparing them to engage in gambling? Is this a good preparation for their future?
Analyzing the progress of this game from its early years, bingo has come this far and is now here to stay. It is very important for adults to set a good example for the youth. If society will allow people to play bingo anywhere, do you think it would bring a good example to our children?
