Different Forms of Bingo and the same kind of fun

Different forms of bingo arose in the past decades. Each form varies in how the game is played.

One form of Bingo is played most often during the Christmas season; hence, the name Christmas Bingo is used. In this form of Bingo, three presents are brought by each player to the venue of the game. Each of these presents are wrapped and placed in a paper bag. In this game, it is essential that the participants are unaware of the owner of the presents in the bag. When all the participants are present in the facility, each present is removed from the paper bag and is placed in the center of a circle marked by the participants.

Before the game starts, blank bingo cards are handed out to each participant. Each participant then writes numbers in the twenty-five squares. These numbers would range from 1-40 without repetition.

Picking out a number from a hat marks the start of the game. Each player whose cards contain the called numbers marks the card and chooses a gift from the group of presents. After getting a present from the center, the caller chooses another number. This play goes on until all the presents are gone. When there is no present left in the center, players must then take away a present from the number as each number is announced by the caller.

The game is ended after all the numbers are picked. All the gifts chosen by the players at the end of the game can be kept by these players.

Another form of Bingo that emerged is called the Buzzword Bingo. This game is used during meetings. In this game, each player is handed out a card that contains a matrix of buzzwords. These buzzwords are mentioned during the meeting. When these buzzwords are heard, each should cross out the word from their cards. Like in a regular Bingo game, the first person to form a patter on the card wins. However, "Bingo" is never shouted during this game. It is simply exclaimed since none would have the courage to shout during a meeting.

There are different forms of bingo which vary according to how each game is played. Despite of these differences, all of these games guarantee a fun and exciting experience. It does not matter whether it is a Buzzword, a Christmas or a regular Bingo. So, don't hesitate to play Bingo anywhere you want since there is a perfect one that would fit in each situation.
