A Simple Yet Practical Bingo Strategy

Bingo is a great way for people to share what they have and have fun while doing so in company of friends and neighbors. However, with the advent of the Internet and all the other developments and hype when it comes to bingo tournaments, people often wonder if there is such a thing as a bingo strategy.

It isn't a secret nor would it take more than a few minutes playing the game to know that bingo is entirely a game of chance. Other than cheating, there is definitely no way of predicting the winning card or the winning numbers to be drawn in an actual game. This begs one to question whether such a bingo strategy exists at all.

The secret to a practical winning bingo strategy is to deal with the math of the game. There are elements of bingo that nobody absolutely controls. However, there are certain elements in bingo where one may have some form of control thus a bingo strategy can be formulated. What we have below are a few things to include in anyone's practical bingo strategy. You may add a few more as you gain experience.

The first part in any practical bingo strategy is to choose the type of bingo you're going to play. The halls that allow players to choose their own cards are the ones you should look out for. They are more advantageous for you in the end.

The next part of your bingo strategy has something to do with what cards you pick if you're allowed to do so. What you need to check out in a bingo card is the B column. Check the numbers on that column and avoid the cards that have higher numbers. This means that you have to pick the ones that have the lowest possible set of numbers in that column.

Next, look under the I-column and see if the numbers are within the range of 19 to 29. Any number lower than 19 on this column should be avoided. Now, moving on the N-column, choose only cards that have the numbers 29 to 39. For the G-column, choose the cards that have more numbers above 49. You should only pick cards having numbers within 60 to 68 for the O-column.

Now, if your bingo hall does allow you to pick cards then you should arrive early so you can spot more cards. However, if the hall doesn't allow you to choose your bingo cards then you're best option is to pick the less crowded halls and use more cards. However, never play more cards than you can monitor as that beats the purpose of getting more in a game.

A bingo strategy that works around the math of the game will give you better chances of winning. There is no magic formula to predict what numbers will be drawn or which card is the winning one.
